On October 29, taking into account quarantine restrictions in a remote mode, chaired by
Rector V. Sements, a workshop was held on
calculating the amount of funding for
departments in 2020 based on key performance
indicators (KPI).
According to the decision of the Academic
Council of the University, the amount of
funding for the BMI department in 2020
according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of
Ministers of Ukraine dated December 24, 2019
No. 1146 “On the distribution of state budget
expenditures between universities based on the
indicators of their educational, scientific and
international activities” was calculated
according to the KRI indicator – 8.44.
Despite the global economic downturn caused by
the COVID-19 pandemic, reduced incomes and
growing instability, the department received
additional funding in proportion to the CWI in
the IV quarter of 2020.
This was possible
thanks to the results of a successful
introductory campaign, publication activity,
financial receipts from scientific and
international activities, a contingent of
foreign students and other components of the
sustainable development strategy.
