The competitive work by Master student Kazimirov Nikita with  the supervisor  Senior Lecturer  Karina Selivanova took the III place at the XIVth Kharkiv regional competition of student scientific works in natural, technical and humanitarian sciences.

Student scientific work was devoted to the development of a  method for testing on multitouch devices for the determination of  carpal tunnel syndrome, because tunnel neuropathies account for a third of diseases of the peripheral nervous system and significantly worsen the patient’s life, even requiring a change in profession.
Experimental researches were executed  on a MEDION MD 20165 touchscreen monitor at the laboratory of biomedical 3D technologies of the Department of Biomedical Engineering. 3 scientific theses were published in collections of materials of international scientific and practical conferences and 1 scientific article of the professional journal “Innovative Technologies and Scientific Solutions for Industries”,  also an act on the implementation of scientific results was received, a beta-version of specialized software was developed.
