On April 9, the XI conference was held on the basis of the Computer Department
“MODERN DIRECTIONS OF DEVELOPMENT OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES AND CONTROLS”,
which was attended by students, graduate students and young teachers.
The conference was attended by student of the department of BMI extramural education Kravchenko Mikhail (group BIBMIz 16-1), who has significant practical experience in design and the operation of electronic systems in the urban economy. Currently, Mikhail is actively exploring the possibility of modernizing the old generation radiological equipment. His report “Problems of modernization of the control panel of the GAMMA-therapeutic apparatus” was devoted to the development of new wireless remote control a gamma therapy device that can replace control devices, which are not repairable. Technical solutions proposed in the report will help to significantly reduce delays in work departments of radiation therapy associated with the failure of outdated control units. The report caused a live professional interest, as well as many questions to which Mikhail gave qualified answers.
The development presented in the report became a good approbation of the bachelor’s work.
