On April 17, 2020, the second round of the All-Ukrainian competition of student research papers in the specialty “Metrology and information-measuring equipment” was held at Lutsk National Technical University.
According to the results of the second round of the competition, a diploma of the II degree was awarded to a student of KNURE, group BMI-17-1 Vladimir Rogovets (science head – associate professor of the Department of Biomedical Engineering Averyanova L.A.).
The competition work was carried out with the assistance of the educational and scientific base of the Department of Biomedical Medicine – Institute of Medical Radiology and Oncology. S.P. Grigoryev NAMS of Ukraine and the diagnostic center “Brigids”.

The experimental work was carried out using unique equipment – the CIRS Atom dosimetric anthropomorphic phantom and Philips Brilliance 64 Multispiral computer tomograph. The work presented at the competition is a fragment of scientific research on the creation of a patient monitoring system for computed tomography in medical institutions of Ukraine.
The victory of our student is another confirmation of the need for basic research in conjunction with leading academic institutions of Ukraine. Only the use of unique experimental technologies and cooperation with leading experts of our scientific and educational bases can become the key to further victories of our students.
