July 2, 2021 at the last meeting of this academic year Of the Academic Council of KNURE, the opening and approval of the position of the educational and scientific laboratory of sports medicine and physical rehabilitation. The laboratory was created with the aim of further developing fundamental and applied research in the field biomedical engineering, research and development of biomedical orientation in the field sports medicine and physical rehabilitation, including those related to instrumental methods of biomedical studies of the functional state of a person using new information technologies and artificial intelligence, mathematical modeling, development of multimedia display systems for educational information, informatization and automation of the educational process in order to promoting the most efficient use scientific and pedagogical potential of KNURE, improving the preparation of students involved in scientific work, scientific personnel: graduate students, doctoral students, scientific workers and teachers. The laboratory was created as part of research part of KNURE at the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Administrative subordination of the NNL “Sports medicine and physical rehabilitation” is assigned to the head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering KNURE. The scientific director of the laboratory attracts specialists, including applicants for higher education in agreement with the head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Employees of the NNL “Sports Medicine and Physical rehabilitation ”perform duties that are determined by their job descriptions.

In the laboratory by a student of the BIBMI-17-1 group by Kirill Bitsenko under the guidance of the senior teacher Karina Selivanova has already been completed first qualifying work of a bachelor. We hope for the beginning and continuation of interesting scientific research!
