Foreign students KNURE took part in the 1st Kharkiv Welcome Meeting for Foreign Physics Students, which was organized by the IRE SPIE Students Chapter at the B.I. Verkina (Kharkiv) May 21, 2021.
The meeting was held with the support of the international communities The Optical Society (OSA) and the Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE).
The program of the event included reports from leading scientists and engineers of the world. In particular, foreign students and not only heard information from a compatriot who has been living and working in Ukraine for many years (Zane Eaton, Associate Prof., Director at Dish Ukraine) about what you need to know and be able to do to take part in the ERASMUS program for students and what it is like for a foreign student to live and work in Europe (Levchenko Yevhenii, Assist. and PhD St. of NURE, Scrum master at Dish Ukraine). How to properly conduct scientific activities while in emigration (Mariia Pashchenko, Dr., OSA Ambassador,) and how to correctly make reports at scientific conferences (Carlos Lopez-Mariscal, Dr., OSA Ambassador).
Also, students presented their work in the form of poster presentations. As a result of the meeting, the participants received certificates, a collection of publications and gifts.
