Work continues on the joint Ukrainian-German research project "3D-model. Implementation of rapid prototyping technologies for modeling upper respiratory tract in normal and typical pathologies"
The project is financed with the support of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research
German Research BMBF (01DK20017) and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (100445538).
As part of the project in the journal Current Directions in Biomedical Engineering published by De Gruyter in collaboration with colleagues from the Institute of Multiphase Processes of the University. Leibniz of the city of Hanover published an article Validation of solvent-based process for smoothing of additively manufactured 3D models of nasal cavities, which aims to research the creation of realistic models of the nasal cavity for future aerodynamic testing.
In 2021, the third stage of the project is completed. The project started in 2019. Research in 2020-2021 was carried out with a demonstration of developments in a remote mode using technologies for creating virtual laboratories and video with the effect of presence and systematic online conferences to discuss the received
results.
