GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS FOR PREPARATION OF THE BACHELOR'S THESIS
The Bachelor’s Thesis consists of 2-3 chapters (review-theoretical; software or hardware profile), the third chapter and other chapters (if possible); references, applications (if possible).
The structure of the bachelor's thesis:
– title page (according to the approved form in Ukrainian and English languages);
– task page (according to the approved form in Ukrainian and English languages);
– abstract (in Ukrainian and English languages);
– list of contents;
– list of symbols, abbreviations and definitions (if necessary);
– introduction (1-2 pages);
– 1 chapter (named “MEDICAL AND TECHNICAL SUBSTANTIATION”);
– 2 chapter (DEVELOPMENT OF SYSTEM / BLOCK / ELECTRONIC CIRCUIT/ DEVICE / PROGRAM, etc. depending on the profile of bachelor’s thesis)
– 3 chapter (if possible)
– conclusions;
– references.
If the bachelor's thesis has a theoretical direction or there is no technical possibility, the drawings can be executed in the form of illustrations.
The total number of pages of the bachelor’s thesis should be at least 30-40 pages.
The first chapter should contain an analysis of the state of the research problem in the world, native country and Ukraine, brief anatomical and physiological information, analytical review of medical and technical literature. The purpose and objectives of the study.
The second chapter should contain theoretical information about the chosen method/method of analysis, research/processing, or system/description of the developed software or circuit of the device, unit, etc.
The third chapter and other chapters are agreed with the supervisor due to the technical feasibility of the student.
The conclusions provide their results and generalizations, and recommendations for the use of the developed block/device/electronic circuit/system/program, etc.
References should consist of at least 15 literature sources, most of which are concentrated for analytical review, as well as references to scientific papers of the supervisor or other staff of the department, published on the selected research topic.
The presentation of the bachelor’s thesis consists of 7-15 slides and should contain the obtained results of chapters.
Completed work is submitted in time for preliminary consideration by the commission on the student's readiness for defense and to verify compliance with the standards for bachelor’s thesis.
