Our foreign students of CNSIM actively participate in international student scientific events. Mohamed Hawari, a student of the BMI-17 group, together with three other foreign students from different parts of the world, came up with a new project as part of the Worcester Politechnic Institute competition. A technical solution has been proposed that can accelerate the healing of bone fractures in children. The development is called “Orthopedic wearable device with infrared light for bone healing.” This device uses infrared light to enhance blood circulation and healing directly at the site of a fracture or sprain by enhancing the blood supply.
