International Scientific and Technical Conference “Physical Processes and Fields of Technical and Biological Objects”
held since 2001.

Young scientists of the department constantly take part in it.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss the current state of the analysis of the essence, properties and physical characteristics.
processes occurring in complex technical and biological objects and systems, which is the basis
for the development of technologies for modern medical and technical diagnostics, treatment, as well as the development and
production of new generation technical devices.

The head of the department, Professor Oleg Avrunin, is the head of the section “Biological and medical devices and systems”.
This year, the conference presented reports aimed at processing biomedical data and
images. Postgraduates of the department Jiao Hankun, Ibrahim Yunuss Abdelhamid took an active part in the conference
and assistant of the department Trubitsyn Aleksey.

At the conference, it was clearly defined that research in the field of biomedical engineering directly
contribute to the achievement of sustainable development goals.
